After School Program

After School Program

Welcome to Rocky Point Charter School’s ASES Program (After School Education and Safety), better known as Discovery Club.  Our main priority is to assist the students with homework assignments and identify areas of concern for additional tutorial services.  Our goal is to provide a program that encourages growth, both academically and socially, to ensure we meet the unique needs of each individual student.  Each child also receives a nutritious snack every day.

Areas of focus include implementing integrated academic, health and social services, recreational and cultural programs, experiences with technology, and providing a variety of enrichment activities for all students which include: arts and crafts, computer time, Zumba, cooking, cheerleading, baseball, and much more!

Our program is a collaborative effort between RPCS, public and private agencies, parents, and local community members.  The ASES grant provides the funding that supports this program.

Rocky Point Discovery Club employs qualified NCLB-compliant group leaders and maintains a strict sign-out procedure to ensure the safety of our students.  Our hours are from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and we welcome you to drop in at any time. If you have any questions or need additional information about our ASES program, please contact our Discovery Club Coordinator at 530-722-7047.
